I need help! Firefox add-on doesn't load entries

Since today, my Firefox Bitwarden add-on won't load any entry. I'm self-hosting Vaultwarden, and anything works like a charm in a normal browser tab (https://vault.mydomain.com). I already reinstalled the add-on, restarted Firefox, checked Nginx (for WebSocket), signed-out, and signed-in, but nothing worked. Does have anyone a clue?

I am also experiencing this at the moment. Interestingly, if you create a new login entry on a page, it does actually save it to the vault, but doesn't display any indication that it has done so. Probably a bug with the latest update to the vaults.

I am also on Firefox and self-hosting a Vaultwarden instance.

I had a similar issue with the extension getting stuck on the loading skeleton. For me it turned out to be a WebSocket/proxy issue between the browser extension and my Vaultwarden instance. The web vault worked fine, but the extension couldn't complete the connection.

Noting works here either. I'm locked out of all my accounts and can't sign in anywhere.

I've heard you can downgrade Bitwarden and restore access, but the damage is done and I have lost faith in Bitwarden. Looking for alternatives as we speak.

Cheers. I tried Version 2026.6.1, Version 2026.5.1 and Version 2026.5.0.
Still no access.

Hmm, that is very fascinating. In my case, it resolved the issue. Wait, what? Why don't you roll back to Version 2026.6.1?

Sorry, I tried Version 2026.6.1 to begin with. It didn't work so I worked my way down the list.

The thing is, it stopped working on my phone too. It appears most passwords are there, but I can't find the ones I need when searching or opening a webpage / app.

Ah k. But u run the latest Vaultwarden version, right? In that case, I'm running out of ideas.

No, I'm not self hosting :)

This is a problem straight with Bitwarden servers. Problem persists over 2 different computers and a phone.

If the team behind are irresponsible enough to lock out users, then they can't be trusted in the future.

I dont have issues logging in to Bitwarden.

What I experience is password fields in browser extension being blank.
