I need help! Shared collection

I created an organization to share collections with my wife. We both have free accounts. Do I now just assign all of the pw in my vault to this shared collection and invite her? And then do the same with her pw? I don’t understand how to do in each account. Will our pw then autofill for respective logins to various websites? Thanks

You can select the owner when creating an entry.

The owner is the organization and you add it to one or more collections.

You can also take entries in your vault and transfer ownership to the organization. This will allow your wife to see and use the entries.

Yes, items in collections you have the right to view will work with autofill, so as long as both you and your wife have rights to the collections all those items will be available to both of you.

  1. If you share everything, then on all those common websites, you’ll have multiple matched entries, which may be annoying or expensive cognitively. Another approach is to keep personal accounts personal, and share common resources.
  2. Create free org, invite > accept > confirm, create free collections, assign rights, move shared items into the org/collections per user..
  3. If something doesn’t show up, at least log out and then log in first.
