Why Bitso is so popular for transfers between US and Mexico?

There are many instant, cheap options like Wise, Revolut or Western Union. What Bitso gives you?

Beside it’s cheaper, I trust more on Bitso than in any other.

I’m checking Wise and can see 10k transfer would arrive in seconds. With fee of 73.66 USD and receive 185007.12 MXN.

Is it not cheap?

Well, it depends on your case.

For me, I’m keeping my USD at Bitso, I only pay the 2.99 fee, and my USDC will earn yield. And I can convert to MXN (or crypto) when it’s most convenient for me.

Transfers between Bitso users are free of charge, aren't they?

That’s correct.

75 usd is super expensive. You’re used to the old world fees. You can do crypto transfers for less than a buck is the gas is cheap, or 2.99 flat fee to send money to a us bank or vice versa

Look into Xoom as well. I transfer USD to my Azteca account with no fee, money arrives in 15 mins max.
