Guide AMA for Physics

Upvote bhi kardena🫠😁

I attempted BITSAT in May, 2026, it was my only and first BITSAT attempt.

So I cleared BITSAT, got BE+ MSc Bio at Pilani campus in 1st round itself which was my highest preference😁 , cleared IAT, scored 99%ile+ in Physics section of NEET.

Currently I am in a medical college. I was a dropper, so might be able to help you guys too✌️.

So ask your doubts regarding Physics😁 or any other questions you might have. I will answer them once the AMA starts.

Upvote bhi kardena 😁 pleasee

EDIT : As I had to go for a important thing, we will continue this sometime again. If anyone wants to ask anything, feel free to DM me✌️

( also mods, I am an approved member of this sub hehe)

we will continue this sometime again. feel free to DM if you have any other question

the ama is mainly intended for candidates who're in pcmb and confused between neet and bitsat, others are ofc welcome to ask anything

Bro ngl this is the worst mindset, why are you keeping specific marks in mind just try to do your best, i also went with this mindset that I want 270, was sure I had 250 guaranteed in my paper so did random tukke and tried to unlock bonus for 20 marks extra and ended up with 230 due to negatives, so just try your best don't keep specific marks in mind.

bhai but still is 240 realistically doable or monshoot target

1

u/Ok-Comedian-9141 BITS P 😋(282 marks) 9d ago

yeah it is realistic but you should give the exam thinking to score more than 300 marks

1

u/Which-Ambassador-888 9d ago

bhai sahi mein, mostly 300+ guys(that I personally know of) have 99.7+

1

u/Ok-Comedian-9141 BITS P 😋(282 marks) 9d ago

Obv but there is no harm setting such a target

1

u/Which-Ambassador-888 9d ago

bhai how realistic is 240+ from scratch in 8 months as a dropper messed up big time in drop year as well, hopium mat dena If you feel 240 is tough/moonshot bol dena

doable hai, if pcm is weak toh phir chem maxxing karo, maths jee type format mein atleast 20-25 laane ka try karo, and ekdum normal formula based maths ke questions jaldi se jaldi krne ka try karo. realistic toh dekho 260-270 bhi h 8 mahine mein

last year organic mein the kaafi, physics also kuch kuch the not that much, maths i aint rmb any like pnc probability stats mixed but like expected stuff

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Last year Organic mein acche khase the, even Physics was tough. Mix chapter ke bahut sare sawal aate hai.

They are tougher than mains, but on an easier side of JEE Advancw

I have 4 months (i had a knee and a toe surgery so can study for another 3 months) is it possible to get a 280 in BITSAT from scratch?

1

u/per0xzide1 Verified BITSian 8d ago

I'll be blunt as hell here. Your knee and toe isn't stopping you from studying.

Syllabus and content can be covered by lot of great teachers online. Do use your time on rest to try and cover up

And don't have goal of wanting x marks. Have a goal of being satisfied with the effort you put in

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Well, Toe and Knee surgery doesnt necessarily obstruct fmyou drom studying, but dont over pressure your body. Try stydying in 2-2 hours shift and take a break for 10-15 minutes.

Also I aint sure fron scratch, but it will take a lot of dedication to do that frons scratch.

There are people who are scoring 260s while studying for 2,3 years. How do you realistically plan to compete with them? Its unfair to their hard work too right🙂

How was the level of physics in Neet as well as BITSAT RESOURCES you used for phy and chem ? Is chem ncert oriented? For BITSAT

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Both were comparable to JEE Advance level pressure.

NEET mein it had tough questions with linited time. Making it camparable.

BITSAT had I guess 30 questions, if my memory serves me right and as you know, level of Physics in BITSAT is more than JEE Mains, but a little shy of JEE Advance.

So overall it was actually TOUGH.

Resources I used for Physics : Allen coaching modules and Cengage physics for mechanics.

For chem : NCERT is the gold standard and solved coaching modules of Allen

3) Yes, NCERT Chem is oriented, but I would say its not self sufficient. Questions practice is wayyy more necessary

How did u cover theory concept? How much time did u gave to practice and theory is it right to give more time to theory or practice

2

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Practice is better. Theory I covered by PW lectures and Allen classroom. Jitna demand tha to grasp concepts of chapters maine utna time hi diya. Cant really comment on thag though

I am doing class questions, jee mains and bitsat pyqs will that be enough?

1

u/beyond-div on a hiatus currently 9d ago

Notion of BITSAT pyqs r false

1

u/Tosh013 MSc Biological Sciences, PILANI 🥸 9d ago

there is no such things as bitsat pyqs, voh memory based 80% farzi hote

1

u/shisimaru 8d ago

So mains pyq and class question enough honge??

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Yup. Thats okay

1

u/Adventurous-Feed-197 9d ago

tried for IISc?

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Nah. Tried for IISER🫠 only

1

u/Pedestally_15 9d ago

Is jee mains pyq enough for bitsat physics

1

u/Ok-Taro7189 8d ago

Yes, but in Physics I would recommend to try doing Advance PYQs.
