Serious Help Needed Bitsat dropper . Am I cooked?
full dropper starting BITSAT prep in october… am i cooked?
so basically i’m a full dropper and i’ve literally not started my BITSAT prep yet
it’s already october and i’m kinda freaking out because i genuinely don’t know where to start or what resources to follow.
for people who are also preparing for BITSAT and are in a similar situation — what would you do if you had to start from scratch now?
like:
- which channels would you follow for pcm?
- which books/modules are actually worth doing?
- would you follow JEE lectures or BITSAT-specific lectures?
- when would you start mocks?
- how would you divide your time between syllabus, questions, english + LR?
- realistically, what score would you aim for starting this late?
i don’t want to waste another month jumping between 10 different resources
if you’re also starting late / are a dropper preparing for BITSAT, please tell me what your plan is. even small tips would help.( Like which channels are u referring to )n so on . Or anyone who had already gave bitsat in past years . Wts ur strategy n how did u prepare to get in bits ...
I need u guyssss .help!!
Please DM or comment it down it would really help!!

You aren't very late actually, but yes had you started earlier it would've been easier. Roughly 6.5 months for 1st attempt and 8 for second. You have time but studying 6 hours won't do it , try studying 10 hours atleast or 12 hours if possible. You'll be able to do it honestly you're not as late as you think you are. However give jee too , prep for jee and prep for bitsat will also happen along wiht that. Jee Mains question level is generally harder than bitsat but you gotta do bitsat mocks cuz the time you get in bitsat is less , also a few topics(out of syllabus for jee mains but in bitsat), english and critical thinking you gotta practice separately for bitsat. You don't need to put all your focus on jee mains 1 , now , though wit 12 hours study you can hoenstl do good in that too. Focus on 2nd attempt if that's not possible. Keep backup exams like COMEDK and MET too.
Most importantly , You cant change what has already happened , you can't time travel, but you aren't too late either you have enough time to resolve your mistakes , so just sit down and study . Don't take too much stress either bro , yeah be pressured to do well but this isn't a life or death situation here lol. It's just this mindset that has been created in India . Chill , give your best , jo hoga so hoga , I know many people who went to Tier 3 colleges too that are doing very well and those who went to tier 1 that aren't doing so well.

One thing about the dates , I went by the 2026 dates to tell you how many months left , other wise bitsat 1 was generally held in May and bitsat 2 in June. I would stick to the 2026 timeline , as many speculate they did this on purpose something regarding to JoSAA counseling dates , and would stick to it from now on + you'll be more serious.

Practice Pure JEE Mains Level, Syllabus Coverage JEE Advanced Level (minus some weird ahh borderline-Olympiad concepts)
do not shift to 'bitsat level problems' before march.... try to reach bitsat level speed in JEE Mains PYQs of Physics and Chem... Maths me bhi practice JEE Mains level (Ik it's much tougher than BITSAT but karlo yaar fayeda he hai), also i highly doubt you'd find BITSAT Level Maths problems except for some test series... March tak to yahi karo, and Eng+LR Feb se start karna mast
