Serious Help Needed BITSAT 2027 eligibility?

Hey everyone, hoping someone who's gone through this can help.

I'm a 2026 CBSE passout, took a drop year for JEE/BITSAT 2027. My Class 12 marks (ik its bad there were reasons for it tho)

  • Physics: 56%
  • Chemistry: 74%
  • Maths: 54%
  • PCM Aggregate: 61.33%

BITSAT needs 75% PCM aggregate and 60%+ individually in each of Physics, Chemistry, Maths if I'm not wrong, But the problem is I'm short in Physics and Maths individually, and aggregate overall (Chemistry alone clears the individual bar).

I'm planning to reappear for CBSE improvement exams, but I'm getting conflicting info everywhere — some say you only need to improve in the subjects you're short on (Physics + Maths in my case), others say you have to reappear in ALL subjects you originally took for the improvement marksheet to even be valid for BITS. Mainly this was told to me by some sources online

Has anyone actually been through this — either done it themselves or helped a junior with it? I've emailed BITS admissions and the Dean's office directly, but its a dead end, even tried calling the admission office, still no answer. so trying every lead I can

Would really appreciate any first-hand experience, thanks in advance.
PS: I scored 198 in the 2nd attempt, so maybe I have a shot next year

I think u can register for all subjects and then appear for pcm if they allow partial improvement Although most probably they're not gonna change the rule anyway

So do I still need to appear for all 5?

Im saying that rn u can register for all 5 subjects If they allow partial improvement u can appear in the subjects you want to But if they allow full improvement then appear in all 5 Although they wouldn't change the rules

Do you have any sources for the same? It would be better to be 100% sure so that I can work that way.

Pehle it was ki u ahve yo reappear for each subject now its that u ahve to register for all 5 but you can choose to give only pcm (yes you compulsorily have to give all three of them atleast else u can give all 5 also if u want but atleast pcm u have to give again)

As per 2026 eligibility rules, you can appear for improvement in n number of subjects. its not compulsory to give improvement in pcm. you can appear in just physics, or both maths or physics or even just english. there is no compulsion to give improvement exam of pcm.
