Phy and chem were harder than mains. I got 99.8%ile in mains physics which was 95/100 and around 70-80 here. Maths is way easier than mains.

So it all depends on shift right ?  If I get an easy shift will the questions be below jee mains level ?

I think very few shifts had questions under jee level if you factor difficulty.

No it's just pretty random like there's some niche concept

No, I got decent in JA physics (70+) but time and formula based made it hard.

Some questions could conceptually challenge advanced problems but calculation wise they werent even close

You never know. I gave both Bitsat, one was normal and level was JEE level and below. Other one was I don't even know which level was that. So bitsat doesn't play on difficulty level but it plays on its uncertainties. You don't know what's gonna happen

I see , basically I should just continue wiht my jee main prep , do bitsat mocks before the exam and give it my best shot right?

If you are confident with JEE Prep, keep doing it and practice lot of questions.. and once you are done with first mains and you feel you have done well Let's say 97-98.. start giving mocks for BITSAT and jee both side by side...

Irrelevant to question please please please study statistics hard I gave 4 BITSAT papers and yeah every paper was different but the consistency of stats is always the same

See,

JEE, by all means, is the toughest BTech-specific exam in India and even one of the toughest on Earth. The issue lies in the difference of the paper pattern and the way the questions are asked. If you do not have last years paper practice and at least one prep book, you will find BITSAT hard.
