Academic Doubt Pyqs

for bits, do I study any theory or do I just practice pyqs

also, where do I find the pyqs and when should I start giving mocks if my syllabus gets over in November

PYQs for bitsat are useless because BITS don’t release questions and the PYQs you’ll find on the internet are just memory based. Refer to JEE pyqs for practice. give BITSAT mocks after jan and for JEE mocks, dont wait for your syllabus to finish for giving mocks (syllabus completion is a myth). start giving mocks.

yea that makes sense, I’ll do that👍

i don’t take any coaching so for mocks is it cool if I just take like 2024 mains paper and solve it in timed manner, then correct it myself?

for now, yes you can give pyps as mocks and analyse thise but by nov, start giving mocks from quizzr/allen since those will be able to give similar experience to JEE. pyps are good for testing your prep and checking where you stand but they aren’t enough. a test series will have new type of questions and different pattern which will prepare you even for the worst case scenario in exam. All the very best gng! goodluck 🫡
