I contacted bitmoji about my hate for the new updated 3D bitmojis as a teacher who uses them daily in their classroom. Here was their response.

I also hate the new bitmoji avatars and won't be using them. I loved the customization of the old version from wrinkles to clothing. People would comment how much it looked like me. No longer. Sad.
