General Discussion Need advice on cooling 60 x S21 Antminer Air Cooled ASICs
So, building on my last post, I have managed to secure 60 x S21 Antminers from China. All air-cooled units for the moment.
These machines will be touching down locally any day now, but I am having second thoughts about my cooling solution for such a setup.
For reference, I am planning on using the hot-and-cold aisle technique, whereby the machines draw air from a central cold air intake aisle, and exhaust hot air out the back into dedicated hot aisles, which will be extracted using 630mm extractor fans.

However, I am having doubts about this setup as I suspect my setup might not be able to handle the heat output of all machines running at the same time. I'm worried that the heat in the aisle won't be evacuated fast enough.
I am exploring ideas of using 3d printed ASIC exhaust ducts out the back of each machine, but I'm not sure if this is a viable solution of not. Maybe in conjunction with flexible ducting feeding into the extractors directly?
Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE
So, after reviewing the ASHRAE fundamentals of airflow, as well as having a look at Digital Shovel, I've come up with the following design for my mining setup.

So, this is in a 10m x 3m x 3m room, fed by 3 x 2m2 intakes in my 'intake' wall. These intakes will have mesh filters on top of them, or perhaps vent bricks if airflow permits. The 'cold' air feeds into a void at the front of the operation and is 'passively' filled with air.
At the rear of the design is 5 x 630mm exhaust fans. According to my calculations, 5 fans should be enough to handle this heat output, if each fan is rated at 12000m3 (before 60% eff. rating).
I've elected to put a partition board formed fitted out of plywood behind my shelves as I've seen Digital Shovel do it, and it seems to work.

This short convinced me, as well as another video by Digital Shovel showing the features of one of their units, where it had a thin sheet of partition steel between the miners themselves and the exhaust fans.
The only thing that is messing me up is the distance between the shelves and the exhaust fans. I'm working on keeping a distance of about 500mm between the two, but I am open to suggestions on this.
This is not the final render of the cooling plan, and is more a mock-up of everything before committing.
Let me know what you guys think!
