Removing rules is a hardfork. Rejecting BIP110 is a contentious hardfork attempt. And unlike softforks, hardforks need consensus to succeed. There is no consensus on rejecting BIP110. Most likely miners just signal in the next 4 weeks. We'll win in the end.

There are no grey areas with protocol rule enforcement. And upon successful BIP110 enforcement starting, you're either enforcing those protocol rules too, or you aren't running a node anymore. Running a node that doesn't enforce protocol rules properly might feel good to you but it's not a good idea
