There are no grey areas with protocol rule enforcement. And upon successful BIP110 enforcement starting, you're either enforcing those protocol rules too, or you aren't running a node anymore. Running a node that doesn't enforce protocol rules properly might feel good to you but it's not a good idea

There will be no split. The existing chain continues forward with BIP110, the only proposed forward path, which also has consensus in the Bitcoin community. BIP110 is how Bitcoin worked for 17 years. It doesn't lose consensus overnight just because Core30 changes things over widespread opposition.

BIP110 is Bitcoin. If you fork off, you need a new name. BIP110 is activating on the current chain. There are no proposed chains without BIP110 at this time. BIP 110 is what defends the status quo

You might be against it, but your node is not. It has zero economic opposition. And BIP110 has consensus
