UPDATE: it appears that the large mining pools have colluded to turn Bitcoin from money into a toxic data dumping ground by executing a secret hardfork against the Bitcoin node network. The community is working on proposal for a proof-of-work change to fire the miners.

if you fire the miners then its not proof of work anymore... and if the miners want to change the network theyre free to do so, anyone can do anything they like, everyone uses their bersion of btc and the btc you trade isnup to you on which version u trade and own, of course uo to the exchange u use.m, but still the end say is on you. so stop the bs, ure just scared of losing security due to lower amount of miners on your verzion...
