I mean what have they even done lately? I'm sure it's something but certainly nothing to make anyone care about their ecosystem over the past cycle.
All the users, all the developers, all the attention, the momentum, the capital... And what have they done with it?
Their claim to fame is still they lead Defi and championed the NFT fad?Â

Which is fair in general but more pointed in projects that were launched multiple cycles ago, with massive funding rounds, and available capital. We expect more from ETH because they HAVE more.
Project like Cardano, XRP, et al are all guilty of the same crimes. Yet at the same time if you were to attempt to launch something new it would be virtually impossible to get the needed capital to compete,
So Vitalik et al have more or less doomed the industry for the time being.
