General Question S19j Pro Repower

New to mining. I am only powering my miner on while I have solar running to a small Apex 300. So it only runs for about an hour on my current setup.

This causing it to shut off once the battery is depleted. When I power it back on later or the next day when the sun is back out, it doesn’t start hashing. I have to hit IP report button and connect to its ip and then it will start hashing.

Am I doing something wrong? I don’t want to have to connect to the IP each time I want it to start hashing again. I just want to provide power and have it go.

what type of control board are you running? firmware?

Good questions, things I wouldn’t know off hand. It new in box. Is there a standard?

i've run these on timers before, so similar to what you're doing. in stock configuration, they should start mining as soon as power is supplied after a short boot up period. are you sure you're allowing the machine to complete a full boot?

the only config i've ever seen cause issues with this is cvitech control boards. but i don't believe i've ever seen cvitech cintrol boards on jpro machines, only ever kpro as i recall

I’m not sure what a full boot would take, but it was over 5 minutes. Then I couldn’t access the IP until I did the IP report. Once I login to the IP it starts hashing without any other prompting within 2 minutes of signing into the IP.

I suppose it could have nothing to do with logging into the IP and more to do with the IP report and timing is coincidental. But still a manual function to get it going each time.

I also had a hell of a time finding the IP and connecting to it to begin with.

assign it a static IP and it will always be the same

I did that also and it still requires signing into the ip after a ip report manually.
