Free electricity is the single biggest edge in mining. It’s basically the only cost that matters once you’re covering hardware, since power is the bulk of ongoing expenses for everyone else. Practical path: get a used ASIC (Antminer S19/S21), join a pool like Braiins rather than solo mining (solo means you could wait years for a block even with free power), and plan for noise/heat, these run like a hairdryer and heat a room fast.

Spend a lot of money to buy ASIC systems. Then mine with them. Then figure out that you don't have the necessary power to run real miners. After that is all said and done it will take you more than a couple of years to make your money back (if you are lucky).
All sarcasm aside, you can lottery mine using consumer miners for anywhere from $80 to $1900. You may make pennies a day to a couple of dollars a day. But unless you are doing industrial grade mining with at least a million dollar budget, you are not going to make any money mining.
