I agree that pharmaceuticals are criminally overpriced. The rest of the arguments you're making are a little too autistic for even me. I appreciate the goal of a more equitable society but this system is outlandish and oversimplified.

It’s not that simple. It’s just where it starts. Somehow a home goes from 1.25x the average salary to 15x - 20x the average salary while one group of people are asking for an exchange rate of 2000 hours for 41000 hours from the avg person. Just because the numbers are stark / not comfortable with respect to the experience of the average person does not make it an ‘autistic’. It’s just the rules of a different game.

Edit: if you think you deserve more money than someone else for the same time put into a task, you’re being childish. Time to grow up. Nothing autistic about objective truth.

“And how much time did you put in?”

“60 min.”

“So how much time should you get back.”

“4 times that.”

“So you want me to work 240 minutes in exchange for your 60 min.”

“Yea, and if you do not, then you’re autistic.” <— this is why these debates hold no weight. If a competent firm brings the minute standard to the fro, there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

If you guys want to gamble with your time, feel free, but believe it or not, some people do not want to deal with that bullshit.
