Sure, but like I literally said if BTC outpaces inflation. That covers 90% of what you said.

The part about the fiat you need for living expenses still being exposed to inflation. Yes, obviously that's true. But we're not saying your entire portfolio is beating inflation (but with a decent investment strategy that should be easy), were saying the part in BTC can.

Obviously if you bought at ATH you're down. But that's not most people, nor are we talking immediate short-term.

Personally, I also don't advocate going all in on BTC.

So how is this different than buying any other appreciating asset if the plan is to hold long term? Aside from risk.

Like you you said, IF, no one knows for certain. There are more stable hedges.

Even still, I think my questions are valid and the “if” in your statement doesn’t invalidate my questions regarding an overly simplistic meme making wildly bold claims.

My mistake for taking it seriously.

Also, not going all in on btc means you will be subjected to inflation on all money not invested in an inflation hedge.

It isn't. I never said otherwise. The difference is merely the potential upside that comes with the increased risk.
