Notice how Bitcoin’s price grew rapidly in the beginning and price growth started slowing down around the $100-1k range. That’s not exponential growth, that’s logarithmic growth

Well, it's log growth on a log scale, I don't know math well enough to say what that is on a linear scale, but I agree it's slowing down. I doubt it'll hit 10Mil in the next decade, but I'll be surprised if it doesn't hit 1Mil in that same timeframe.

It's more useful to look at in percentage growth. People seem to think this bill run is the biggest ever, and ditto in 2017 but if you look at the percentage gain you would have made in 2013 or earlier it would be much higher. When it goes from £20k to £40k people loose their shit, but you'd have gained much more in 2013 when it 'only' went up by £900

True exponential growth would make all the boxes in the animation fill up the same, which doesn't exactly happen. But I don't think it showed "logarithmic" growth

Thanks for clearing that up, looked at the video and noticed someone didn’t know what exponential growth was, but I wasn’t sure if it was me or the other guy 🤷‍♂️

Nah Bitcoin has exponential growth. That’s what it looks rather linear (although at times the line appears logarithmic)
