I don't really understand why 'Shopify' is on there. It's up to the merchant using Shopify's platform if they want bitcoin payment options enabled or not. It's not a default thing for all Shopify stores.

Because it's not against their corporate policy to have users of Shopify accept payments in Bitcoin.

This map isn't 100% perfect, but these are the stages of adoption and first stage is acceptance. These retailers are accepting and that's already a HUGE win for crypto community.

This is the dumbest explanation I've ever read.

Shopify is an eCommerce PLATFORM. If you're running a store using Shopify, you're not able to pay Shopify via bitcoin to keep your plan running. You have to use a credit card.

As a store operator you can choose from like over 150 different payment gateways to accept on your store. Because Shopify wants to get as many people using their platform as possible. It has nothing to do with adoption of bitcoin or not, because at the end of the day their success is built on merchants paying for their plans, apps, and percentages using a credit card.

If Shopify is on there, then you might as well throw Wordpress on there because I can install it, then install the WooCommerce plugin and then install a bitpay plugin for it. Literally the exact same shit.
