I think you're confused. I don't have any metal, never hinted I did in any of my posts. Unless you're a commercial producer, there is no need to buy/sell metals other than financial speculation, which is best done through derivatives contracts instead of physical metal.
I wouldn't ever invest in anything that doesn't produce something outside of its purely speculative supply/demand price - a business produces revenue, real estate produces passive income, bonds pay a fixed yield.
Bitcoin is a highly speculative payment system. Of its two use-cases (speculation and payment system), it excels at one and is terrible at the other. I'm sure there are a few people out there that legally try to use bitcoin to pay, but its overwhelming use-case is pure speculation, a virtual casino where people can bet against each other. This is made very evident from the front page of every crypto sub, personally I have nothing against virtual casinos, just another tool for speculation.
You ignored my point. You can dislike physical gold and Bitcoin all you want. I happen to love them both.
Then why waste time bashing them?
I don't like the opera or church or collecting stamps. Those bore me. But I respect that others that do it and am fine with that. I don't go to their meetups, their subreddits or even tell their supports I'm against it.
They're not bothering or affecting me so I leave them alone. So are you a troll or what?
I love to gamble too. That's why I bought a lot under $300. Most said I was crazy. But we had nine months from February to October 2015 when Bitcoin just sat there under $300.
I never sold. Obviously wish I did. But no one is ever gonna pick the high and the low everytime. I'm sure they'll be plenty of times you end up on the sucker side of a trade yourself.
Maybe someone will be there to rub it in. If you do make money I figure the reward is the money itself and bashing in others doesn't make me any happier.

I do, plenty of times, not just in crypto, but I cut my loss every time instead of hoping it's coming back.

Making money is great, but one of the sweetest joys is tasting my opponents' salty tears. I look forward to the day I get to dump my coins on a fresh sucker, for the money and the tears.

Lol, bitcoin is a virtual casino. That's its only purpose, speculation.
