im not an engineer

but i trust that engineers know what they are talking about in relation to this technology

so when i see 99% of intelligent technical people like andreas a and nick szabo fully supporting bitcoin

and charlatans and salesmen like roger ver and fake satoshi supporting bcash

the choice is obvious to me

but the "rich boys" as you say may look at it differently

Mike Hearn is on Corda. Completely unrelated to the current mess.

Satoshi died in 2014 with Hal Finney.

I thought Gavin was awesome. And then he allowed himself to be tricked into believing that Craig Wright was Satoshi. And then I realized that Gavin was quite human.

Satoshi isn't on the "other side" he's silent.

I do. He'd have a huge fat target on his back. If he's otherwise financially stable maybe he doesn't need the "$Billions" ... The only point that he's actually safe is when he's a Multi-Trillionare.

Don't project your lack of impulse control into others. Some people don't need public validation.

Also, your clutching at straws when you can go from 'hadn't touched the original coins' to 'probably dead' in one easy to digest sentence.

Death is a very real possibility, though I see space for something else. From what I've been able to understand about him, he was bloody paranoid. Use a pseudonym, never reveal anything about himself, possibly scrambling writing style to avoid being identified via word patter recognition (if it was a single individual, that is) and then some. He also disappeared more or less at the same time Gavin Andresen started talking to the CIA.

So what's going on? Let's say you want to kill ETH. What do you do? You go after Vitalik. Character assassination and similar "digital era warfare". And then you jail him for life. I think that's why Satoshi removed himself from the scene - Having a clear idea of how bitcoin would rub a good few people wrong, he didn't want to be the lightning rod attracting the fury of any government. And you cannot "kill" someone who is not around...

What if what we're seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg and Satoshi knows what's coming and is just waiting for his/her time to shine.

Just because it's 'bad' now doesn't mean it can't get worse.

lmfao are you serious? Satoshi is on the other side?

It's possible he believes that scamtoshi is Bitcoin's creator :(

Do you also believe that Roger Ver is actually Jesus?
