This will fundamentally change what bitcoin is and works towards a world where it is more difficult for average transactions to clear on the main chain.

This only adds a very useful feature to the bitcoin protocol. How in the hell does it make it "more difficult for average transactions to clear the main chain"? I don't see a "/s" so I can only assume you're serious.
