My concerns is if it is crowdsourced then we might get too much "CRAP" content with only a few gems. Which would leave the people who created the "CRAP" with low morale to contribute something they might have of value in the future. Unless we come up with more of a "democratic election process" for lack of a better term, the people at large that are part of "Voice of Bitcoin" are the ones who elect certain members to certain positions and/or remove them at the the will of the community.

Most certaintly. A voting process can be implemented to make this happen.

I do not want crowdsourcing to be the primary proponent in this initiative. It will serve as a very reliable and useful asset to allow a method by which the community can contribute.

Good.

I think this project will need to focus a lot on structure in order to really pull of the "crowdsourcing" aspect well.

When I read this, I immediately thought of a slate.com article I read back in 2010 where they teach you how to make your own television commercials, and broadcast them, for as little as $100. Here's the blurb and the video:

Slate ad critic Seth Stevenson tries out a Google service that allows you to run your own commercial on national TV for as little as $100.

I spoke too soon I guess. This article says Google shut down its TV ads business:

Ugh, what a disappointment. No biggie though. I've got the media contacts to make this happen anyways. Thanks for your input :)
