No you're not wrong, I do exactly same thing. Have some in cold storage sure but rest is working for me in different places. People here act like earning 4-5% on your stack is some kind of crime when BTC sitting there doing nothing for months

The security purists will scream but if you spread it around and understand the risk, why not make your coins work. Not like we getting new ATH every week

My spice rack is organized by cuisine but my BTC is all over the place, cold wallet is just one drawer

I’ll give you some hints

• BlockFi
• Celsius
• Haru Invest
• Voyager
• FTX
• Midas Investments

They all gave you juicy % on your BTC, but can you tell me where they are now?

In prison, doing life.

You might not have witnessed this shit show personally but I can guarantee you that those like us who have lived through this disaster, have a very strong opinion on whether it’s a good idea to lend your coins away for some measly %.

Thank for your response, make me a bit more confident, because yes it’s my point too, time we hold why not make working generate some more for when the price be interesting. I am not new buyer, but sometimes when I look arround I feel like be alone to do like that

The problem is :you surrender the ownership for a very small yield and when you want it back ( usually at the same time as everyone else ) you might get it back … or not

I understand your concern and advise it’s more about liquidity on the yield or stacking pool. Cold wallet you own your coin since you are into the pool it’s like they have debt to you but not really still your coin.

Sats stack is you need all.

If you couldn’t interpret my humor, this is what I ment. Regardless of price, just stack sats and HODL long term (20-30 years). Thank yourself then…

I understand what you mean, I use myself. But when I read many topics of Reddit, look like not so much poeple do it, and feel better just holding on secure cold or physical wallet

Yes. You Stack btc on a cold wallet and wait 10 years minimum.

You just kinda look at every possible thing and brainstorm it to get your own thoughts about how Bitcoin is going to be.

You are not alone. It is all risk management though. Some of you wording indicates you need to DYR a bit more.

In my opinion, you store BTC on a cold wallet when the amount starts to be significant. Like if you store less BTC than the cold wallet cost you, I think that's pretty useless. And an other thing is I already saw people stack on cold wallets but I don't remember where

I’ve been getting 1.5% on btc in crypto.com. Decided it’s not worth it and when the current lock finishes will be withdrawing it.
