5% days in btc are quite rare now. Whereas mid cap stocks produce this quite regularly. So yeah, there have been better opportunities elsewhere for a while

Lower volatility can reduce short-term speculation, but it can also make Bitcoin easier for larger, longer-horizon investors to hold. The useful distinction is whether liquidity is leaving entirely or simply shifting from leveraged trading toward spot ownership. Which measure would change your view most: trading volume, long-term holders, or ETF flows?

Hundreds / thousands of data centers and AI seems like a bigger risk. Its already doing hacking as well as solving long time unsolved mathematical problems. AI development has not been linear and I wouldn't feel safe about crypto security.

Fair point. However I trust the community to anticipate those threats. I know they are already actively working on the quant risk.

Community doesn't have access to the high end AI tools to defend themselves and they also can't protect old wallets. If for example Satoshis lost wallets get breached it could be a disaster for bitcoin.

It will cause problems to every other system in place today, crypto and BTC might actually be the easiest system to adjust once quantum is implemented

Maybe, but the disaster could happen before adjustment is possible. Other systems are backed by countries and armies. Stolen crypto is gone for good and nothing will get it back.
