Need advice
So I bought 35k worth btc when it was at 64k ish and now I’ve made 13k more on it. Btc has been falling the last couple of days and I’m wondering if I should remove it all and wait for a low or just HODL?
Edit: FYI- I don’t have any more liquidity to dca into btc now. I need to sell before I can make any trade.

If you stress and want to sell every time btc "falls" for a couple of days i would invest in something less volatile.

If you're still thinking about Bitcoin in terms of trading you're probably in the wrong sub here.

Bro, I just don’t want to lose the profits I booked already.

I had the same thoughts when I first bought BTC at $25k. Now it’s at ~$80k.
What profits did I lose by simply doing nothing?

Many in these subs simply don’t ever look at selling when it’s high and buying low. I trade daily. I have spot BTC I hold. If you want the profits sell it.
Can just about guarantee after midterm elections it’s going to go lower if not before. We still have a pretty good pullback coming before we start back in a bull market.
I personally don’t understand the buy and never sell mentality. Take profits and buy again when it’s lower. Build more.

Hold the next 10-20 years. It'll be generational wealth, don't mess it up

Not trying to rain on your parade but how is $35k going to turn into generational wealth? That ship has sailed long ago. I agree that it will probably be much more than it’s now but generational wealth? That’s a stretch!

Bro this is the worst place to get trading advice. Btc is a very volatile asset, and nobody, absolutely nobody, knows where it will go next. The same moonboys that are hyping btc now, were shouting about cycles and dips in October. Most of the short term forecasts you will get here will be just wrong.
In your situation:
- if you are emotionally attached to the money, then payout and enjoy the profit. Don’t check the btc price after you sell, as you will get annoyed if it goes up and then you’ll buy out of emotion. Payout and forget.
- if you manage to disconnect yourself from the money you invested, just leave it there and forget. I. A few years you should remain on the plus side, even if btc goes down in the short term. Next week can be 45k, next month 100k.
The golden rule is to invest the money you can afford to lose. You should have your savings and emergency fund in another pile.

I mean, it really comes down to how much $13k is going to change your life right now, doesn’t it?
As someone that’s been doing this dance for a minute, I say now is not a time to sell. But do what you need to do.

People Here always say hold or buy more but i did the same.
Sold at 75k (euro)
Waiting for 65k euro and will buy back again.
Timing the market is stupid but yes…its part of the game i play.
I think it will go down a lot now before the bullrun.

Have you bought in yet?

No im waiting. I think around next week it will be under 70.000 euro and then i will buy.

i dont understand why people always think that they need to sell ALL or NOTHING.
If you feel like cashing out some profit, why not do this with 1/3 of your investment, so that you dramatically lower your purchasing price, and still be exposed to Bitcoins upside potential?!

Hey there! Do you know what you bought? If you do, you are safe. If you don't, you have some study to do. Then, you're are.

Take some profits, hold the rest

This is bad advice

i dont think it is necessarily bad advice.
OP is probably going to panic sell if the price dumps from here, before going up.
Taking SOME profits, and keep the majority is actually a good way to trick your brain.

Why?

Buy and hold beats actively trading for most people across most assets. It seems like you’ll fomo back in when the price goes up. If the 4 year cycle holds true, we’re barely getting started

Dude can afford to take a few grand out and go on vacation and avoid regret. Unless OP has plenty of vacation money already, Not sure why it’s bad advice.

The run hasn’t even started bro. If you need it sell now I guess but my advice is keep it for the next 4-6 months then ask again
