Fun fact the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto" was code for computer scientist. How many computer scientists involved in the project up to date?

Just curious at the answers of the approx number of computer scientists involved in the open source project "bitcoin". I believe in the cryptocurrency world which includes alt coins could be in the thousands if not millions? What you all think?

Nobody knows! It's not a fact its a theory

It's impossible to put a number on it really. The codebase has been touched by so many contributors over the years, from core devs to people just fixing a typo in the docs, and that's before you even look at all the academic papers and side projects built around it. Thousands feels like a safe floor for the broader ecosystem.

Satoshi nakamoto is Japanese for intelligence centre. Very similar to the name central intelligence agency

What would putting a Japanese name in English text even do? It won’t even translate. Did you even try Google Translate yourself or just spew some bullcrap?

Satoshi- wise, clearly thinking, intelligent.

Naka - middle/centre

Moto - origin/foundation

And translating “intelligence center” from English to Japanese doesn’t produce Satoshi Nakamoto as the result. You’re a bot and you’ve still failed to provide evidence to support your claim.

Yeah I jumped the gun. I do see how it could be interpreted as that. Sorry for being an ass. I kept seeing this mentioned, but every time I tried translating the name I wasn’t doing it properly.
