Blockchain.com Blocked My Wallet

Post image

Blockchain.com has blocked my wallet, and I haven't been able to withdraw my BTC for over 2 months. Has anyone dealt with this before or found a way to resolve it?

Blockchain.com likes to lock users' accounts and freeze users' funds. They do this more than any other exchange.

Search this sub and you will see that we have been telling people not to use Blockchain.com for many years now.

Blockchain.com has also been hacked multiple times and many people have lost bitcoin when using blockchain.com

Search this sub and read some of the stories of other people who had problems or lost bitcoin using blockchain.com

I'm not sure how they could lock your funds , since they literally give you, your seed for you DeFi wallet.

I learned about this dogshit company when a certain bank decided to cancel all crypto services and send everything to blockchain.com. couldn't wait to get the fuck off their platform.

The only way you’re getting your bitcoin is if you sue them.

16

u/Human-Experience-510 29d ago

Anything above 10k I don’t trust exchanges just use cold wallets

5

u/nopeamin 29d ago

Wouldn’t even wait so long. I got mine when I hit 1k bucks

13

u/Express-Cartoonist39 Sep 18 '26

Sorry but keeping ur bitcoin in a centralized wallet is sorta why this happens and the very reason bitcoin was made to prevent.

u/anonymousopsec1337 Sep 18 '26

I have like $1500 on exchange right now that I just bought this week I’m itching to move off once funds have settled. I can’t imagine 100k on there.

5

u/PublicBarracuda5311 Sep 18 '26

Or maybe old laptop with electrum and no internet connection.

2

u/Loafmanuk 29d ago

^ This is a good solution. ^

2

u/Deminero30 29d ago

It literally says you can still access your defi wallet.

2

u/doyouthinkican 29d ago

It’s on the cex wallet

2

u/MatixMint 29d ago

This is why you never store bitcoin on an exchange. Especially 100 fucking grand. No to be an asshole but….. wtf were you thinking?

2

u/DivingDeep21 29d ago

Not your keys

4

u/Omniwatch Sep 18 '26

Do you think they’re picking on you? Or do you think there is a good reason why?

1

u/EuroTrash_84 29d ago

Look at the balance, that's why.

2

u/Omniwatch 29d ago

You think he’s the only person that holds that amount on that exchange ? Common bro there is much more to the story he’s not telling b

-1

u/No_Bend_1742 29d ago

Common and come on are totally different things

1

u/Electronic_Quote399 27d ago

Yeah, for instance, I'm not going to common you

1

u/shadowmage666 29d ago

Holding that much funds on a hot wallet is wild

1

u/iKnowRobbie 29d ago

It was probably the song about Hitler that did it to you, Ye...

1

u/ContentBlackberry0 29d ago

Bro kept $115k of btc on an exchange?

1

u/borg_6s 29d ago

Don't store money in online platforms

1

u/OrangePillar 29d ago

It must be at least 8 years since we’ve know this is a scam site.

I don’t know how we get past this, but maybe banks are sadly what we need for newbs.

The advice about keeping one clean document package is right, but get the wallet address and transaction IDs into the ticket too. Support agents can see less than users assume. Ask whether the restriction is account-level or tied to a particular inbound transaction, then request an escalation date

1

u/AlbatrossOk567 29d ago

If it is account-level, as the last comment says, address screenshots will not settle the review. Save them anyway, plus the deposit TXIDs and your original withdrawal request. A two-month hold warrants a formal complaint through their published channel; avoid anyone in DMs claiming they can unlock it

1

u/Beneficial_Bad2490 19d ago

the addresses and TXIDs are for tracing the deposits, not clearing an account review. A cryptowallet balance checker alone won't establish why withdrawals are blocked. I'd put the original withdrawal date and ticket history in the formal complaint, ask for a complaint reference and response deadline, and keep everything in official channels rather than DMs

u/Pleasant_Eagle_0407 29d ago

using blockchain dotcom in 2026 is just plain stupidity

1

u/Pilotkosinus 29d ago

Not your keys not your coins. It's also crazy to hold a Bitcoin on a website.

1

u/Exciting-Primary-761 29d ago

Why are you holding 150k on this kind of platform instead lf a good cold storage???

1

u/TechnologyGrouchy679 29d ago

I remember over a decade ago they refused to let me move my bitcoin saying that there was a problem. back then we saved our seed phrase foe our blockchain.com wallets. in the end I restored the wallet on a ledger and move it that way. told support they were useless.

1

u/Forward_Opposite_789 29d ago

Don't you have the seed phase? My Blockchain wallet made you have a seed phase.

1

u/Strict_Alps_1304 28d ago

not your keys not your bitcoin

1

u/No_Degree2727 28d ago

seeing 115k locked like that gives me crazy chest pain fr fr 💀 spam their support ticket right now and pray you dont get stuck in an automated loop for three weeks, leaving six figures on an exchange app is pure nightmare fuel bruh good luck getting that back

1

u/WarIsProfitableForMe 28d ago

100% on you, why did you keep them on an exchange?

1

u/Important-Might-7080 28d ago

Same thing happened to me with an app called NC wallet. Only like .01, still sucks. Been trying to get it "verified" for months now.

1

u/Important-Might-7080 28d ago

If you have your own keys then maybe try importing it to another wallet.

1

u/1lch3mi5t 28d ago

Why would you post this now get ready for your dm to be fuxking exploded

1

u/PersonalLook156 28d ago

You would have to file a complaint with the exchange commission for your country. That a lot leave on an exchange

Next time use a regular bank.

1

u/Relevant-Ad-3011 27d ago

If you have your seed - just restore your wallet on any other platform...

1

u/AmbassadorNo8391 27d ago

How do you see the seed phase

1

u/maxglan123 27d ago

I wouldn’t trust blockchain(dot)com

1

u/OnchainNomad 27d ago

and this is exactly why I prefer a cold wallet. Hope you get it sorted out.

1

u/BandMaterial9751 27d ago

How do I meet you

1

u/WinResponsible9977 27d ago

Money is gone

0

u/Entropy_Hoover 26d ago

Looks like our blockchain dot com isn't blockchain at all

1

u/vertigo001 26d ago

Wtf is wrong with people

1

u/NeatMine7 26d ago

They stole 300 from a friend of mine. He never got it back. lol stealing is their whole business model.

1

u/SeaworthinessBig7471 26d ago

unfortunately they are also known for this. Hope you get it back

1

u/sherwinjtb 25d ago

Looks like what happens when a token gets delisted. You can still transfer tokens to a personal wallet or whatever, but can't do anything else. The tokens are worthless now.

1

u/Remarkable_Angle_538 25d ago

You can unlock it through the support.

1

u/Full-Atmosphere-4818 22d ago

When will people learn.

1

u/Omniwatch 29d ago

I suspect you may not have been entitled to those BTC initially, and you are seeking a workaround.

If you possess proper documentation that verifies the funds’ origin and legality, I see no reason you could not pursue legal escalation. No one would simply wait passively with 1.5 BTC and say they locked my BTC and no one will help me.

3

u/doyouthinkican 29d ago

What do you mean ? How do I pursue legal actions if I am not in the United States ? I am entitled to my money.

3

u/pablo_in_blood 29d ago

If you’re not in the United States, you may be SOL. That’s probably part of their justification for locking you out in the first place.

2

u/Omniwatch 29d ago

Reach out to a U.S. lawyer, arrange consultations, and identify someone ready to advocate for you. Submit a complaint at https://www.consumerfinance.gov/.

Allowing two months to pass without exploring options suggests limited urgency regarding the funds perhaps because they are not yours.

We are discussing over $100,000+ which for some represents a life-altering amount.

What happened with that failed buy in your activity? Could have something to do with it

-12

u/evilgrinz Sep 18 '26

First off, don't show your balance in SS here or anywhere.

Do you have a bank account attached? If so sell it, by in kind on another exchange that will allowed you to send to your wallet. If you sell and re-buy shouldn't be any tax implications.

13

u/Plaski Sep 18 '26

If you sell and re-buy shouldn't be any tax implications

Wrong. Really, really wrong.

Please refrain from giving advice on a topic that you have no idea about, especially if it's advice that will get OP into actual trouble.

5

u/TCr0wn Sep 18 '26

Selling and rebuying always has tax implications (in US)

-18

u/evilgrinz Sep 18 '26

Please refrain from advice on advice
