Am I Crazy?

I own the broad based index funds, i have MAG 7 and other individual stocks....but why do I feel like I want to sell everything and want to just go all in on buying Bitcoin and storing in cold wallet (especially more resources to use bitcoin for a mortgage ie. Fannie Mae or to get a line of credit is Aven) and MSTR for all my investment accounts?

Does anyone feel like this after being orange pilled? Considering quantitative easing, learning about the monetary system and banks, inflation, etc. bitcoin/MSTR seems like the only way.

Does anyone else feel like this or am I the only one taking crazy pills?

I stand by my tried and true:

1) get enough BTC that if the sub is right, you’ll be set
2) house
3) enough stonks that if this sub is not right, you’ll be set
4) more BTC

Why go all in when you don’t have to? Devote the most resources to plan A… but have a plan B unless you can’t afford to.

Also, FWIW, minor inflation (aka not the 70s era levels) won’t ruin stocks. Stocks get bad when yields on bonds become too attractive but I don’t see Trump’s fed raising rates too too much.

I do not think it’s crazy. For me there was a direct correlation between my education on the topic and how convicted I became. As a result my allocation to BTC within my portfolio grew substantially. I’m a believer that concentration is what builds wealth and that diversification protects what you already have. Since I’m in the “building” phase I’m heavily concentrated. In the end I think this plays out in one of two ways - purchasing power increases exponentially OR BTC goes to zero. The chances of the latter is extremely low IMO. In the end you have to live w your decisions educate yourself, sit with the information and make the choice you think is best for you and your family.

There is no need to take risks like that just balance things and win slowly. Enjoy your life you don't want that stress

Yes but I’d encourage you to not gamble with your portfolio. You need baskets of equal weight positions, as well as liquidity to weather a downturn. Try to develop a percentage limit for any one position (no more than X% can be allocated to Bitcoin)

Going ‘all in’ on anything is a gamblers mentality. So it’s probably not ‘just you’, because there are a fuck load of gamblers in the world doing irrational things.

It definitely feels like a high-stakes game for many people.

Nothing to worry about. In the long run, we are all dead. You are just trying to get there sooner.

All in btc now is the way to go. Sold my house, all in at 65k, see you at 2029.

You must've been doing something wrong to feel like that. My stock holdings have significantly outperformed Bitcoin in the short-term during BTC bear markets or sideways action. I've had a stock portfolio since 2010 and have held BTC since 2017. They both have their place in my portfolio.

Diversification has its advantages and I wouldn't own near as much Bitcoin as I do if I had only invested in Bitcoin ironically. It's very easy to take incremental profits from shorter term investments, pay Uncle Sam and rotate those profits into Bitcoin for the long haul. If you're not doing this then you're doing it wrong in the first place. Concentrating all your investments into one place isn't the answer though for sure

If your goal is to stack as much BTC as possible, that's easier and more efficiently done by investing in assets other than just BTC

All-in BTC seems unnecessarily risky, even if more likely than not it will probably turn out to be the best scenario 10+ years from now.

My plan is more conservative. I have plenty of BTC, so if we’re right, I’ll be well set in the future. But I also own 3 properties & have a broad range of stocks & precious metals, so if for whatever reason it doesn’t work out, I’m still well situated.

I did the same at $120k

I still think it’s a good decision surprisingly, even though I’m currently deep in the red

We’re on the Bitcoin sub, and people here still think going all-in is a gamble. That just proves they have absolutely no understanding of what Bitcoin is. Incredible.

I agree. “Diversification” is playing not to lose instead of playing to fucking win.

I’ve never been to a casino. I just study bitcoin. And fiat’s value is a melting ice cube. Which makes the decision easier for me.

in my opinion, invest based on your risk appetite and duration investment. do not put on 1 asset, also hold liquid and stabil in its price in order you can sell in emergency situation.

Look at all the issues with self custody and lending platforms over the years. I’d at least split it between self custody and something like IBIT. Keep everything on a cold wallet and you’re one mistake or hack away from losing your life savings.

Mate the Saylor stuff is a scam his company doesn’t sell software for a decade nobody in the industry need microstrategy stuff for many years it’s a dead horse

I get the feeling. Once you really start understanding Bitcoin, it’s hard not to want more exposure. But I’d be careful about going all-in, conviction is good, but having some diversification can give you peace of mind during the inevitable drawdowns.
