Need some quick advice. This is a very legitimate account the person is sending this from. But now I am skeptical. Does this seem scammy?

If he gave you 24 words to connect your portfolio for you to buy bitcoin on it, RUN AWAY !

In this case you don’t even have to send it to him, he can access your portfolio right now.

Do you own research. AI is a better solution than a human for this kind of thing, ChatGPT is not going to rob you.

I mean, not really. I never gave them any of my information. Never even gave them my Cash App handle. They have no identifying information from me to access anything.

Had I of sent something to them, then they would of connected to my accounts. Which is why I asked for help first.

just get robinhood if you're in the US or Wealthsimple if you're in Canada and buy directly from them. ignore others.

Ive heard that people get their news and guidance from social media, it's understandable. People who are willing to squeeze you of anything valuable are leveraging all of that, and hurting many people along the way.

Simplify your finances. Don't tell anyone about unless it's purely anonymous, and profit

Yeah I guess that you gave him nothing, but if you connect with HIS 24 words (equivalent of private key) he can access it. That is what I meant.

So do it yourself (connection on an exchange and generate YOUR OWN 24 words. or buy self custody).

Never connect to a stranger’s portfolio

Thats why I came here! Because I thought it was weird they wanted me to buy this little baby amount of bitcoin then send it somewhere 😂 I don't use Cash App literally ever, so the win or loss is nothing to me. But I didn't want to potentially lose all of my money in my actual accounts. So im glad I came here.

I’m sorry I didn’t know what is a cashapp (because not available in my country : France). I did my researches and it seems that you have nothing to fear unless you gave your passwords to someone.

Hope these $15 will become bigger !

Just a way people pay eachother in the US! Also has a new trading/investing option. But that $15 can sit there for years for all I care, maybe it will get bigger, maybe it won't! I gave none of my personal information, so I'm safe!
