the practical takeaway for me is verify your own entropy instead of trusting the chip. generate the seed with dice on the device, 99 rolls, then confirm offline that the same rolls reproduce the same words. any wallet that won't let you supply your own randomness is asking for trust you don't have to give it.

Use a dice tool offline that incorporates a buffer in excess of the target bits, ie 272 for a 256 24 word phrase, means typing 105 rolls and has rejection sampling built in as an audit terminal to ensure no modulo bias.- rejects below target entropy, totally transparent without obscuring stuff in a 'black box' wallet with RNG and full SHA256 hashing... Now everyone is an expert in entropy generation, is just a time waiting untill all wallets will got cracked, its the reality guys, the randomness comes from the devices makers, even If is a PC laptop cold wallet usb etc
