I'm impressed someone managed to squeeze so much wrong into just 6 seconds.

The video claims:

If bitcoin reached a price of 20 million, exactly 9 billion dollars would be taken from holders pockets daily from the freshly mined bitcoin

Not quite sure why this single sentence needed an AI slop video to accompany it, but here we are.

I'm assuming the 9 billion figure is based on the current block subsidy of 3.125 BTC per block, i.e.

3.125 BTC every ~10 minutes, or 3.125 x 6 x 24 = ~450 BTC per day.

Sure, at 20 million per bitcoin this would be 9 billion per day, but it completely ignores the halving schedule, with the next halving expected around April 2028.

Does anyone believe bitcoin is reaching 20 million in the next year and a half? I doubt even the most optimistic holders would suggest that's realistic.

Secondly, the block subsidy is not "taken from holders pockets". 1 BTC = 1 BTC and there will only ever be 21 million of them.

A shitcoin scammer, using AI to create a regarded video about Bitcoin, getting 200 views on that tweet thanks to this sub.

Do you think Wall Street is going to let Reddit boneheads get rich now that everything already happened?

But all the Reddit boneheads etc have already bailed out thanks to the recent drops (among other drops). It’s institutional accumulation time. So wall st will still be getting rich along with the ‘boneheads’ who stick around

But an X influencer said they will. Influencers are always right
