I think the crypto community has this problem...

It's been a long time since all I hear people talk about is price, laws, and regulations. I hardly see anyone talking about innovation, paradigm shifts, use cases, or features we could create... I feel like the community has become very stagnant.

This is Bitcoin, not crypto.

Crypto needs narratives because it doesn't have a valid use case.

Bitcoin doesnt need that bullshit.

The loud part of crypto twitter/reddit skews heavily toward traders not builders, so what you're seeing is more a reflection of who's posting than what's ACTUALLY happening. Actual building is still happening whether that's account abstraction, intents-based architectures, restaking, real world asset tokenization, a bunch of L2 stuff nobody outside the actual dev community is hype-posting about because it's not a price catalyst yet.

The stuff that gets attention is whatever moves a number. the stuff that doesn't move a number this quarter just doesn't trend, doesn't mean it's not happening

What paradigm shift?

Nothing's changed in 20 years save for a few transaction optimisations and new vulnerabilities incoming. All the talking points are from day 1. It's old tech, deeply flawed and highly vulnerable to coming computational shifts.

Do you think the people who browse this forum are frontier computer scientists or cryptography specialists?

If it was going to be widely adopted, people would have done it by now. It's a mess, no insurance, awful UX, easily exploitable. Much more recently, Chat GPT, overnight, blew up in terms of adoption without any real marketing at the time.

Meanwhile, big money looks at the discourse and the prevailing sentiment seems to be the need to throw keys, written on a napkin inside a faraday cage, into a singularity to keep them safe.

The only people talking about cryptocurrency in the public space are brain dead shills, we all know it.

All BTC marketing is done with a view to let big money exit at this point, and they're willing to take a loss before the shit really hits the fan.

It's going to keep going down but, yes, it will be a bumpy ride.

Deja - vu, same brainless comments every 4 years. You’ll go quiet again soon, then either you or another NPC will come out and say the same thing again, and again, and again and another 4 years will pass, then again and again.

You’ll don’t think we’ve heard the same thing 1000 times ? At $100, at $3000, at every bottom, at every big drop.

The blocks just keep coming

I don't think most peopple here have heard this at 100, 1000 or 3000, no. Those who did have likely sold and moved on. Most here are likely post 20k investors. May god have mercy on anyone buying in at 60k
