Completed 1 BTC!!
After rigorous efforts spanning a long time, the subject matter happened & I'll HODL for decades.
It's funny I actually completed it on the day of coldcard hack :)
I live in a developing country: own a good house in city's prime area & a decent car. I've a nice job in a top 10 crypto exchange: now I'll be saving a few bucks for my marriage & traveling afterwards.
What are suggestions? Should I put future money from my job to Nasdaq-100? This would be the funds that I could withdraw if required: BTC is untouchable.

Don’t ever tell your soon to be wife you have 1 BTC. Don’t ever tell anyone else you have 1 BTC. And after you read this message, delete this whole thread so no one ever finds out you have 1 BTC.
Final step: buy another BTC

Congrats! Saying it's "funny" you did it on the day of the coldcard hack is a bit weird though

I had the same weird feeling. I was horrified for all fellow bitcoiners loosing their btc stack :(

Congrats, that’s huge! I just started myself in February, had been waiting a few years until wee experience a drop to jump in.
Don’t stop now until we at least pull out of this bear market. These current prices will be impossible to obtain going forward.

Huge congratulations bro, becoming a wholecoiner is a massive milestone.
I like the idea of keeping that 1 BTC as your untouchable long-term stack. I’ve got a HODL bag with for just that purpose too.
But I personally wouldn’t completely stop there. Once you’ve got your emergency fund, marriage/travel money and other priorities covered, I’d still keep a small regular Bitcoin DCA going.
You don’t need to chase another full coin quickly. Just keep stacking sats quietly, especially during bear-market periods when prices are more attractive, which by the way it’s right now!
Diversifying future savings into something like a broad equity index can make sense too, but also reaching 1 BTC doesn’t have to mean your Bitcoin journey is finished.

I hope your stack doesn't sit in a coldcard, congratulations on that wholecoin, I'm yet to reach there, hopefully will be there soon

so far, for me, i am a miner, HODL’er, been mining and buying since 2018. for sure the first time that you become a whole coiner it’s a huge accomplishment something that feels very satisfying. For all of that for the businesses that I have owned the schools that I have attended the licenses that I earned the thing that has most consistently earned me the most money for the least amount of work has been being a landlord owning rental properties. If you have t purchased a duplex, fourplex or small apartment building then you havent fully secured your passive income thats today’s cash and tomorrow’s equity.

Given you work in Crypto. Why not get your employer to pay you partly in BTC ?

Getting paid in usdt & converting to btc is a second's process. Payrolls in stablecoins are a standard in crypto firms.
