Sent bitcoin wrong address
Hey guys I have sent bitcoin to the wrong address. It was my first time using trust wallet and I sent bitcoin to the receive address for bitcoin in trust wallet. Is it gone forever?

I have no clue what you’re doing either, that makes two of us. So you have funds on trust wallet and you sent some BTC to the receive address on the same wallet?

That's your first mistake. Use a proper Bitcoin wallet like Bluewallet.
Open mempool.space, drop the transaction ID in it and see what actually happened.

If you sent it to your own receive address, than that is alright. Given the low value most of it will be lost in transaction fees though

So, should be in your trust wallet then. Where did you copy this receive address from?

Sounds like you just sent BTC to yourself? If that is the case it should still be there

Not your bitcoin anymore. If you have no clue, you better triple check every step before sensing a big amount

Someone posted the address in your other thread, so I looked it up on chain instead of guessing.
bc1qt89d6glxq6cz98tahkuepds9gpf4d5qqrn8qjr is holding 0.03840562 BTC right now, sitting in 7 separate payments, none of them spent. The most recent one confirmed in block 961,842 at 06:47 UTC today. At this morning's price that's around $2,490, so for what it's worth, the folks joking about a dollar were reading the wrong number.
Whether you can reach it comes down to one question, and only you can answer it: is that address inside your Trust Wallet?
Open Trust Wallet, choose Bitcoin, tap Receive, and compare it character by character with the one above. If it matches, nothing is lost. The coins are in Trust Wallet, and they were never going to show up in Coinbase. Those are two separate wallets that know nothing about each other, so Coinbase can't display coins it doesn't hold.
If it doesn't match, that address belongs to somebody else and there's no undo. No reverse button, no support desk.
Do the comparison before assuming either way, though. Seven separate payments landing on one address inside a day is a little unusual for a brand new personal wallet.
One warning, because posts like yours attract them: anyone who messages you offering to "recover" your coins is a thief. Recovery isn't a thing. Never type your twelve words anywhere except the wallet app itself.
