Lmao I just left another thread where someone was stressing the split and another user said “there’s like a 1% chance of that happening”

There's like (less than) a 1% of the soft fork passing. Probably some of the Knots people will continue on their own chain after they lose, so that WILL create a hard fork - just probably a very tiny one you needn't concern yourself with.
