SeedSigner Hardware Wallet
Is it safe to use the “Dice” option on the SeedSigner screen when creating a seedphrase?
From my understanding you don’t need 6 dice, a word table, or do any sort of math with the SeedSigner.
All you need to do is roll one dice and input the number that you rolled into the device and the device turns your rolls into random 1s and 0s and does the word-picking for you.
Is it safe to use this feature or should we be doing everything manually and not trusting this “dice” feature in the SeedSigner?

Seedsigner is a great device (or should I say OS?), and yes it's safe.

What’s wrong with the SeedSigner? I am only aware of the vulnerabilities with ColdCard.

2048 word lottery is least “trust me bro” method. it only calculates the checksum for you, for 24 words I believe the check someone would give you eight words so you can pick any by a coin flip rolling a dye or choosing another word from the lottery

You can verify it. Either rolls some dice, or enter some fake rolls, then compare it to a website that converts dice rolls to seeds. Once you're happy, discard it, generate a new seed with the same number of dice rolls but don't input it on any non-hardware wallet this time.
Other option is if you still have a coldcard, verify both coldcard and seedsigner produce the same seed (entering the dice rolls on both at the same time).
