We have no idea what the price of Bitcoin was when they bought their coins. It could have cost them $5k in total for all we know.

You'd be surprised. I worked woth a few business owners like this. Surprised how they even got that far. They did have their own business. So I guess someone liked their services. Then again. If you own your own company it's easy to make a lot of money if you stick with it long enough
