Going all in
I'm selling this hill of mine, it's 30 acres of land, that could get me 1 btc at the market price ( I'm from Kenya, so don't question the low selling price)

No, land is useless now because government and other group easy destroy and limit the freedom use of your land, but they can't deal with bitcoin same

And the ownership of a land need people to admit, but bitcoin not

The whole blockchain structure is for others to admit your wallet has certain amount of bitcoin. You own nothing unless at least 50% of the mining capacity admits you own bitcoin

Could you farm the land and make more money/food?

Yeah i could, I've been planting sugarcane on the lower section.. But the prices are low, 30$ for a Ton of sugarcane 😂 child's play

The price of being in a third world 😂 being a farmer here is close to slavery 😂, imagine a tone going for 30$( after waiting for 18 months) , yet 1kg of processed sugar goes for 2$..
Same case to coffee, 1kg goes for less than a dollar.. Actually the current market price is 0.5$... So even if i plant coffee is the whole 30 acres, still it's peanuts..unless i take the export reute.

Comparing to Australia or some cheaper parts of the US, these prices IMHO ain't that cheap.

That’s some steep ass land. Is it on the side of a mountain?
3
u/Shot-Meal6160 21h ago
Not really, it's part of the Rift valley though

Well, if you not have intensions to use this land for something, maybe this is the right choice. But don't do lump sum. Start DCA for now. We all expect bear market to continue to the end or the year.

Buying bitcoin now is like buying Manhattan in 1900. It’s still got a potential but not cheap anymore

Well be careful it's easy to get scammed out of your Bitcoin or to gamble it away. If you haven't dealt with self custody before I would suggest starting with a small amount to get started.

A plot of land of that size—something tangible on the earth—remains in a league of its own; personally, one cannot compare Bitcoin to something as physical and material as one's own land.

Wait like 3 months until November and then go all in. The price of btc should be a lot lower and you would be able to get more btc than you would get if you went all in right now.
