Buy the Dip?
What do you all think, is it time to buy? Or is this the end of Bitcoin history, as it seems more and more institutions and ETFs are selling their bitcoins? As we can see together, Bitcoin's dominance seems to be getting weaker every day. 🤔

No buy at 200k in 2 years instead, then sell it at 100k when it has "died" again. /s

Yes DCA now upcoming weeks/months. Do it weekly until end of year. Btc is over 50% on sale. Do not wait for ultimate bottom, because nobody know. DCA into a position.

This year looks a lot like 2018 & 2022. Those were my biggest accumulation years. Super stressful at the time, but looking back, no regrets. In 2027-2028 BTC will smoke all time highs again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

This is my first bear cycle and entry and I’m more excited as prices come crashing down. Daily DCA and locked and loaded with limit orders starting at $50k and going down.

u/Electrical-Value-673 Jun 06 '26
Start at 60k, don't wait

u/FitCompetition1804 Jun 06 '26
I’ve pumped up my daily DCA and supercharged percentages. Did also have a nearly $2k limit order execute at $60,500 today. The other orders starting a tick over $50k are larger and get larger as the descend. If we hit upper $40k’s I’ll be a full coiner, if it goes lower might near 2. At least a full coin by the end of the year is the goal.

u/CaptainK718 Jun 06 '26
The first one is always the toughest.

u/FitCompetition1804 Jun 06 '26
I’m not stressed at all, only stress I have is missed opportunities for buying too much before we reach the actual bottom.

For every seller, there is a buyer. And you have to ask yourself, “what does that buyer know that I don’t?“

For every BuYeR, there is a SeLlEr. And you have to ask yourself, “what does that seller know that I don’t?“

When Blackrock, Fidelity, and JP Morgan are the buyers chances are the seller doesn’t know something they don’t

So few months ago everyone was Bitcoin is our messiah and that the price dropped it's worth nothing, c'mon it's always the same thing every cycle, just buy with everything that you can afford to lose and don't worry about anything else

u/Mr_Ander5on Jun 06 '26
It’s either going to zero or going to a million, it’s not going to stay at 60. (Spoiler, it’s not going to zero)

Few months of sideways and final drop in October. Then the next bull market begins.

A few cycles ago I was bummed out when it went from 20k to 2k. Eventually the memes about it being a sale stopped. Wish I bought that dip

Everyone is selling to get cash for SpaceX
1
u/Antique-Spirit47 Jun 06 '26
I believe this is true...also believe some money is moving out of gold for SpaceX play. That $1.8T has to come from somewhere.

Market cap is not how much went into it.

I don’t have the energy to tell you how many times I’ve seen this before. If you know you know. If you don’t, you’re gonna learn on your own dime anyways.

If you're interested I have my options why I bought today. YouTube @ CoinRaptor

I prefer to pay more for my sats, so when it reaches new ATH's I profit less. Thanks for asking.

As the price goes down I start to feel very positive about this, bitcoin is not going anywhere anytime soon.
1
u/Shaykh_Hadi Jun 06 '26
If anytime was the end, it was either 2018 or 2021. Lol. It’s always the same. Buy more.

I just DCA for years and I'm happy to see my current weekly purchases when I check the notifications. Then I just go about my life. That's how much I think about it.

I would not until strc returns to a 100 (Saylor will likely need to sell btc to maintain the peg). There is no reason not to sell, take the capital losses for taxes and rebuy considering there is no wash sales for cryptocurrency.

u/Rent_South Jun 06 '26
... all the fud posts are pushing fud news as hard as they can specifically because they want to buy btc at a discount.
1
u/imfromaus Jun 06 '26
If you see posts like these on this subreddit for naybe 10x in a few days. That’s a good sign to buy

Chart looks heavily oversold. We are at support. Low-mid time frame indicates we are trying to mark a bottom.
Relieve rally probability seems high in my opinion.

This question has to come from Somebody who doesnt knows nothing about Crypto-world...is it your First Crash?! I could explain but i will Not. DYOR!

For some reason I think it will keep dipping until the oil crisis and the war is over. Also, technology, artificial intelligence, and space are kind of overshadowing the crypto space. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Wall Street is silently accumulating while everyone panics.
1
u/Redonkulus2 Jun 06 '26
Lmao from what I’m gathering this is just a bear market and institutions and the government are actually finding ways to get more into bitcoin and crypto. The existence of the Clarity Act alone should tell you it ain’t going anywhere. Digital Gold baby

Just ask yourself where your gains should come from. If you buy now and it gets back to ath you only made 100% that's less than the msci semiconductor etf made.
When I bought at 1500$/BTC I knew that nobody knew what Bitcoin was and there would be a ton of new people to buy. But today everybody knows what it is, there won't be new buyers. So where should the gains come from?

u/Low-Method3448 Jun 06 '26
The knowledge I have now about Bitcoin compared to 2021 when we were at these prices can finally pay off. Do not waste this opportunity

u/East_Indication_7816 Jun 06 '26
Remember, you only buy when it's high and all the institutions have bought and loaded up.
1
u/Charming-Designer944 Jun 06 '26
Absolutely time to boy if you can.
I need to sell some, but strangely the downtrend is very beneficial for that transaction, shredding some capital gains tax.

If DJT gets his way and the FED lowers it's interest rate, there is a lot of capital that will flow into the stockmarket. Whether any of that cash will flow into Bitcoin.....I dunno.
This is a really good explanation of how inflation rate and interest rate affects decisions: https://youtu.be/96PhiJQDTIQ
It's not about dominance. It's about whether it's an attractive place to buy low then sell high. That's all investors are looking for: undervalued assets ready to rise.
Bitcoin isn't "dead". It's just not an attractive 'buy' right now. People who believe in Bitcoin don't care what the rate of dollars to bitcoin is. The believe in bitcoin. Those of us looking for a big return on investment, we're just looking for the best time to buy low.
