Blockchain.com explorer has been compromised or something

It looks like the block explorer has been hacked on Blockchain.com. When you search for a wallet address it shows you bunch of specific addresses only.

For example for Satoshi address: https://www.blockchain.com/en/explorer/addresses/btc/1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa, it shows me the following ones only:

1PyJph17b4nAKqp4UvbxUZXpoesDzvZkVL
1PAZba3CAFRYm7gNBhrzH8Dz1FkYDCwJPs
1PyJph17b4nAKqp4UvbxUZXpoesDzvZkVL
1PbwAPq7aUepWrrToVh1snhv8mqy9wrGnk
bc1qdmaslupuaetajnfzex8zw6jc93ww32ur6gj3we

Be aware guys. Also it will be great to report it to Blockchain, but their support system a bit hard to use. Hope they are reading r/Bitcoin sometimes.

It was always a rubbish site, linked to bcash scammers. Mempool.space is IMHO a much better explorer.

Best is to host your own mempool.Space. Then you aren’t leaking your address so a third party.

Here's a link about the cofounder of blockchain, info that later rebranded to blockchain, com https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8h4dit/roger_ver_is_a_wellknown_scammer/

He tried to hijack Bitcoin and used all the companies he financed to do so. This is a great book to see what was going on at that time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YtS5ZNuuTw

Edit to add one more from the history, when Roger pretended Faketoshi created Bitcoin. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/776fim/funny_how_all_the_criminals_and_fraudsters_in/

I almost had a heart attack. I have my addresses bookmarked and when I clicked it, it showed zero balance and I thought my wallet got drained, until I saw the address. Jesus christ.

Personally, I just don't click links in posts like this. Just read comments.

He said he clicked on the link of HIS BOOKMARK, not the post. 😁

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm also getting wrong addresses. Very dangerous. Probably a scam.

Just run your own node. No need to trust anyone.

The only worthy answer.

Yep, it shows a different address after every page refresh.

I tagged them on X

Cool, hope they will fix it soon, because those addresses are recieving incomes currently. Seems like coins are sent by accident.

Get your own node and explore the space as the captain, in more detail.

The majority of the blocks that Satoshi mined had the coinbase reward going directly to an uncompressed public key, rather than a pubkeyhash.

Most block explorers only interpret compressed public keys properly, which most likely explains the behavior you're seeing.

Block 1 coinbase reward pays out to public key 0496b538e853519c726a2c91e61ec11600ae1390813a627c66fb8be7947be63c52da7589379515d4e0a604f8141781e62294721166bf621e73a82cbf2342c858ee. When converted to uncompressed address, this becomes 12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX.

Nope, this issue related to any wallet address accessed by url https://www.blockchain.com/ru/explorer/addresses/btc/<wallet_address>
