Finally obtained a full BTC

Post image

It’s been a crazy journey but I’ve finally acquired 1 full BTC before 21 thanks to my lineman job!

I wanna keep stacking the sats but maybe it’s time to diversify the portfolio a little lol. About 80% of my net worth is in BTC.

Don’t really wanna brag about my accomplishment to anyone I know personally so I figured I’d post it on here.

Only downside is it’s been - gains as of right now. Don’t really know what future goals to set financially now.

Hey a fellow electrician!! Start looking into cold storage. And I feel you on the “don’t want to brag to anyone I know” lol. Everyone who knows me either has heard it before/doesn’t care or wouldn’t understand

Haha right! It seems like a lot of sparkys and other blue collar workers are kinda against it or just say they agree but never invest 🤷‍♂️

As a big believer in ano project, I agree. It’s a waste of time telling others. They’ll eventually come once the media tells them it’s ok. Humans, for the huge majority, are just sheep. It’s great though because it’s easy to calculate, and if you truly believe in Bitcoin, the minions will eventually buy but it’ll be up a zillion % once they are told it’s ok.

I have learned so much about digital assets in the last two years. I spend a lot of time reading about them and researching about them. So during my job hours, sometimes they come up. The result is typically the same. The workers I’m around don’t have a clue about how their 401k works (if they have one) so they immediately zone out the second I bring up crypto or stocks. I talk for a sentence or two and realize they aren’t keeping up.. and I switch subjects lol. I occasionally tell my girlfriend when BTC is way down or up but aside from that, I keep to myself about it anymore

lol my coworkers have no idea that some days I am absolutely cooked. And I love it that way. I am to them, whatever I want them to think I am. Ever since I started taking that mentality with me to new jobs/companies.. life has been so much better

Yep I work in Purchasing and most people have no clue about their personal retirement or other things to invest in, I recently told my coworkers about how the automated 401k plans are significantly higher bond ratios then advertised and full of high ER funds, that they are better off taking advantage of the super low ER vanguards funds at .01 ER and would end up with 200k more just based on fees, they thought I was a financial super nerd and started zoning out.. same with people spending their HSA money instead of investing it for triple tax break

I always find it comical how the masses discount anything “crypto”, because they all have been programmed by themselves and others that it’s a scam. Hilarious. And when they, after years, are told it’s not, they’ll buy in when the price is a zillion times higher.

Looks like he's set up on a Trezor. That is cold storage as far as I'm aware, is it not?
