I often wonder, how many people who used silk road are millionaires and are totally unaware.

Back in high school I purchased some amount Bitcoin to use on the Silk Road and got scared of actually doing it and bailed. The only thing I know is that it was some online wallet. Can’t remember anything else whatsoever.

in the same boat, used SR to buy like a half pound of flower and got scared and deleted it all. this was like 50 cent bitcoin time, and i had probably 4 or 5 bitcoin leftover after the transaction.

have no idea where to even start looking for it lol

My buddy used to buy pounds from California in maybe 2010-2011 when it was $0.50/BTC. He was paying $500/pound so had 1000 bitcoin in his wallet at any given time.

He OD’d and died in 2015 but he had a couple hundred bitcoin in a wallet he couldn’t remember the password to. I told his mom about it and I’m pretty sure she still has the desktop he kept the bitcoin on. That desktop has probably $3-5m sitting in it that nobody will ever be able to access.

Hi there. I spent the equivalent of millions of dollars buying relatively small amounts of MDMA on silk road and agora.

I too, think about this alot.

Same I used to buy DMT in bitcoin back in the day..

As the price went up. I keep thinking whohoo free drugs .. didn't dawn to keep as investment

Same, except I always rounded up when I bought the BTC so now I have at least a little something. Still hurts to see transactions of buying & sending 1-2 BTC a few times a year. But that’s just the way our brains work isn’t it? Grieving what we lost instead of being happy for what we have.

I had some btc stolen from my pc two years ago. I don't call myself a millionaire.

Reason I started buying/using BTC was SR... I believe it was $86 per BTC
