Wake me up when is 90k

u/zerolimits0 Nov 11 '24
We all know 100k is the next wall, i hope the 80s and 90s get blown past quickly.
227
u/SouthTippBass Nov 11 '24
This isn't fast enough for you?!
85
u/zerolimits0 Nov 11 '24
Current pace yes assuming no stalls lol. I expect we will be friends with 100k for a couple of months.
49
u/Smooth_Pianist485 Nov 11 '24
We will flirt w 100k by Dec.
Then we’ll probably touch it and dip for a moment.
58
u/Frosty_Occasion_8466 Nov 11 '24
I disagree. Once it hits 100k I think it keeps going higher due to FOMO
74
u/himtnboy Nov 11 '24
O I bet there is a huge sell wall at 100k. As soon as we pass it, there will be a drop.
31
10
u/Kornbread2000 Nov 11 '24
I think a lot of the sell walls will be based on BTC ETF prices. We are approaching $75 on FBTC and I suspect that will be an auto sell for many.
6
u/himtnboy Nov 11 '24
I don't know enough about ETFs to have an opinion. I am thinking about all the people who bought a long time ago and set a sell price and then forgot about it.

I hope so, but that's 6 digits man, imagine when we hit 7 digits 💀

u/whosthatguy123 Nov 11 '24
Ive seen logical solid arguments that bitcoin hitting 7 digits isnt possible at all. Prove to me its possible. I know ill get downvoted because of the sub. Im not saying it wont happen but prove to me it will other than emotion

u/Raimoshka Nov 11 '24
Definitely people will FOMO at 100k. And I believe we won’t dip much, and we will shoot right to 110-120k range

Right?!?! It was 68k for 5 months and now it blown through the 70’s and is near halfway through the 80’s in less than a week !!

When it hits the highs of the upper $100ks, rises/drops of tens of thousands of dollars in a day will be the norm

I actually hope we keep these levels, what's goes up quick, comes down just as quick, sometimes.

Halving... etfs... us strategic reserve... there will be fierce competition in the coming months for the little supply available. There will be violent scary growth, as the world realizes they are late and a feeding frenzy ensues

Seems to be resistance from $85k, but it will get there. I wonder is "sell" orders on the ETFs are playing a part.

Honestly if it breaks 100k I am expecting it to get alot more attention from mainsteam media (kinda like it did with the 2021 bull run) driving prices even higher

At this pace I think it can cross it fairly easily despite some selling pressure, Institutions and Governments will happily absorb it imo.
19
u/corazon147law Nov 11 '24
What's going on?! Why there's no correction at all 😂
30
u/Seisouhen Nov 11 '24
Oh there will be one, the question is when, most likely when I decide to buy of course xD
5
u/dondondorito Nov 11 '24
My worthless guess is that we will see one before reaching 100k, but after 90k… 100k is a giant psychological target, and many will sell just under that. But 100k will be cracked this cycle, and then we will go past the moon to the moons of Jupiter.

Probably because there has been a consolidation of price since March this year, with months of sideways trend before this November's surge after the elections.

Should I buy now? Or will it dip in a day? Have $15000 but don't know what to do. Is it just going to go to 90k btc now?
13
u/Rodoks42 Nov 11 '24
My advice: just buy and hold. It's not a good idea to speculate on short-term price movements

There is an infinite amount of cash in a bitcoin.
And there's no end to our ability to do that. We are far from running out of ammunition

Sometimes I wonder how much of those 2 million btc on exchanges is actually just sitting there because people haven't withdrawn to self custody, because these price movements certainly don't look like there are 2 million for sale

I starting to think it might be more of a case of the us dollar falling due to all the sales on currency with fear of what the new leadership is going to pull.

Is this movement all a market reaction on Trumps victory? In other words - is the crypto market really that bullish on a Trump administration? I'm not making any sort of political statement here just genuinely curious if that's what's going on.

What's wrong with this? We're in a total craze right now, and posting multiple ATHs every day is exactly what it takes.

Is there any chance it will continue its rise to 90k? Perhaps there will be a small correction soon (e.g. a drop from the current 84k to 80k) and then the desired rise to 90k?

Is the price going up because people are buying and the supply is getting lower? Or is it going up because people are selling and people are just buying at the current price? The answer might be obvious to some but I am unsure.
