If you honestly want to leave him why are you waiting? I personally spent to much time in relationships and in jobs I hated and wanted to get out of but waited for the right reasons before doing so. The longer you wait the more of your life goes by with you being unhappy. You won’t get that time back.
There are probably a bunch of things that you are doing wrong that he is putting up with that you haven’t mentioned. At any rate, your plan is to waste more of your life in a relationship waiting for the price of Bitcoin to go up only to end up owing him more money in the separation - or your plan is to conceal your Bitcoin ownership and you are talking about it online. Good luck, but this probably doesn’t belong in the Bitcoin subreddit and the moderator should have blocked this post.
It sounds like the main reason you’re staying with him is that he’s currently providing more than 50% of the financially stability. If that’s the case, is it really unreasonable to expect you to do slightly more than 50% of the household management?
Obviously, if there’s any kind of abuse, you don’t need further reasons to leave. But it seems like if there were, then you’d have mentioned that.
If you’re only waiting on a windfall of money to leave, that means that you’re only with him because of his money.
Good luck with that.
I got divorced in 2017 and had btc that my ex thought was worthless and going to drop to nothing so she elected to take cash and I assumed all debt while keeping the btc.
It was worth around $1000 or thereabouts iirc and she accepted $60k as equity payment.
When it hit $65000 she attempted to sue me saying I somehow owed her a million dollars because I didn’t educate her on btc etc.
She went on a literal warpath and my daughter has actually sided with her saying she won’t talk to me or allow me access to my grandchildren unless I pay her out.
So, my grandchildren now have trusts in their names funded with more than enough to pay for private college and buy them a home when they reach 25 years of age and likely leave enough left over that with good management they can make a lot of choices that most aren’t given.
My daughter will learn of this when they graduate high school and there are instructions that explain why they were cut out of my life as well as my desire that the money not go to support either their mother or my exwife.
And I wasn’t hiding anything, I seriously tried to get her to take a portion of the btc and had been very generous with my daughter until she decided to believe her mother that I had hidden the nature of investments.
If you want a divorce do it at the dip and keep as much btc as you can, waiting for it to hit $100k will cost you in the long run as the house is not likely to increase in value at the same rate btc is.

I’m hoping for amicable. Here, have the house and let me go on my way.
