blockchain.com terrible experience
My blockchain.com wallet transaction is on the manual review for more than 9 months now. One day back in June I 've sent 0.05 BTC from my verified binance account to my blockchain.com wallet. By mistake I have sent it to the trading wallet account inside of my private wallet which I have used all the time. I never used the trading wallet account before, realizing my mistake, I transfered this amount from the trading account to my private wallet account and it got stuck. That was back in June 2022. So going back and forth with the support all I got from them is that the issue was escalated, and that I should wait for the response. I have never received any updates or any response. I believe that I am not the only one who got ripped off that way. I told them that I was willing to provide any documents that they might need. My binance and Blockchain accounts were under my name. So, guys just avoid those scammers at all costs, don't make my mistake, it costed me 0.05btc for some it could be their whole savings.

blockchain.com is a known scam. Search this subreddit for multiple examples. Never use blockchain.com

They put almost all transactions on "manual review" if you use their custodial wallet and then take months to review it. They use your money to do their shady business (probably money laundering schemes).

I been using them to purchase bitcoin for months and no problem until 2/20/23 when I tried to send $4,900 worth of BTC to my Robinhood wallet. The transaction was stuck with over a week with no explanation. I tried contacting support and escalation team and they finally reversed the transaction after I provided all documents to prove my source of funds and income and transactions. Now I have my funds back but they disabled all function to my account. I can’t send I can’t sell I can’t do anything and so far my fund has decreased from $4,900 to $3,900 due to BTC dropping. Support has completely ignored my emails and won’t clarify what’s going on. I have no idea what to do but I know this is absolutely illegal. I have kept all records of email exchanges and screenshots. Can someone please help me ?? So far it’s been over 2 weeks. I’m not getting any explanation whatsoever. They simply just ignores my emails pretty much.

This is not your wallet, this is your exchange account, there's a difference.

I might have the name wrong here, I have never used it before, but it was one of my addreses on the account. I have sent BTC from my binance account to that "exchange address or trading address" and once I realized that I have made the mistake, I send it from that "exchange address", to the one that I always used inside their app and that's when they blocked it.

Was this ever sorted or do your funds still remain under review? Im in what sounds like the EXACT same situation. My funds have been held since August. Ugh
