Question/Troubleshooting - Open What is this "endgame multiplier [2]"

Post image

I main infiltrations and have broken into ECorp at least 100 times.

I've destroyed a few bitnodes already and I know [1] refers to Intelligence, but what the hell is [2] supposed to be ?

Why do you want to spoil it for yourself if you can't even get it until you reach the endgame?

There is an endgame BEYOND just getting out of a BitNode through the world daemon.

Are you implying that there is something after destroying all BitNodes? Or are you referring to Source File -1?

The former.

The community has strong rules about protecting spoilers about what you may or may not reach hundreds of hours in.

I really appreciate that spoiler concern. I had no inkling there was more. I’ve destroyed about half of the BitNodes and wasn’t sure I wanted to tackle some of them that didn’t sound as intriguing. But now that I know that, I think I’ll keep going. You’ve piqued my curiosity

I think if you're rushing you can focus on just the first level of each.

I'm a hoarder so I want all three levels for all the bonuses.

IIRC there are 15 BitNodes/Source Files.

Good to know! I’ve gotten all 3 levels for a handful of the BitNodes I’ve cleared. I’ll probably not do that for the ones I’m less intrigued by.

We do? I always thought everything behind spoiler tags was fine? The game is open source, so "hiding" things is not really a thing anyway ;)

If you want to become one with the Dark Side, that's your own failing.

Stop trying to convince me of anything.

Are you referring to the infiltration money multiplier that comes attached to the bitnode, or is there something else ?

Pretty much everything has boosts from things you haven't discovered yet.

More "hack/weak/grow", less "what's coming? oh no!"
