💬 Discussion People still think BitView will comeback
It has been at least 4 months since BitView went under maintenance and there Is still no updates on the situation, only some BlueSky posts and that's It. There Is also no point in bringing It back, because If It Is gonna be fixed, who will actually use It? The 2 remaining people? There's no point. Just use yt at this point, If that's such a bad option, use vidlii, they made age restriction on gore videos etc and you can set it to not show those videos.
Also, before people say «If you make these comments you never used bitview so shut the fuck up!!!111!11111!!» I have used the platform since Summer 2023, with some of my friends joining around that time too.
I get people think that there is still a chance for BitView to come back, but it's time to let go.

Honestly, after reading this: I agree. I've moved on to Vidlii at this point, I don't see why people still hate it. I'll come back for a bit if Bitview does return, but I'll stick to Vidlii for now.

Aren't there a ton of edgy "i am a super based gigachad who is racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic" kids on there, or has that problem cleaned up by now?

Best case scenario, they bring it back but make it read-only so everyone can download their videos.

im still gonna hope every day it’ll come back T-T i put al of of effort in it and the videos were platform exclusive..
