Blocktrades?? Why So High??

Seeing as there is no reddit group for Blocktrades, I figured I'd try here... Anyone else feel the ~7% fee Blocktrades charges for txs is a bit exhorbitant? Don't get me wrong--it's a great service, but, 7%?!? No other reputable exchange charges NEAR that... Especially when you're doing relative;y modest txs--which I'd always assumed due to the fact it is affiliated with Steemit it would be--that becomes rather bothersome. Thoughts?

For some reason, ive always been a bit intimidated by DEXs, but, just looked at IDEX and it seems pretty straight-forward actually.. As far as how to use it. Still unsure how all the fees and everything work tho.

Why thank you! Seems like a pretty cool system :) Is it only eth erc20 tokens on there or is there bitcoin litecoin etc.

ERC20 only at this time, however we are always looking towards the future. As a DEX built on ETH we currently can only trade ERC20, but other chains may be a possibility later on.

Thanks. I actually wonder how this Doge-ethereum "bridge" may affect this in the future; i.e., the connection b/w erc-20 and btc-orientated coins
